Responsible for the safe and efficient mooring and unmooring operations.
RESPONSABILITIES:
We are looking for a professional to work as Mooring Master Assistant in an Offshore opportunity to FPSO UARU
The selected professional will perform activities such as:
- Mooring operations, including tandem and spread mooring
- Cargo transfer: Expertise in crude oil, LNG, or other liquid cargo transfer operations.
- Navigation and ship handling: Advanced skills in maneuvering large vessels, especially in offshore environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid maritime experience, ideally at the level of Chief Officer, Second Mate, or equivalent.
- Experience as a Mooring Master Assistant or relevant deck officer experience with mooring operations.
- Certification STCW II/2 (Chief Mate or Master Mariner) is preferred, Second Mate license will be considered.
- Previous experience working in FPSO, FSO, Tanker vessel;
- Previous experience with tanker operations involving offshore loading and offloading, ship-to-ship (STS) transfer operations, SPMs (Single Point Moorings), or oil terminal operations.
- Good understanding of mooring operations, including tandem and spread mooring;
- Familiarity with offshore equipment: SPMs, hoses, quick release hooks, hose reels, hawsers, and emergency shutdown systems.
- Knowledge of marine safety regulations (ISGOTT, OCIMF, SOLAS, MARPOL).
- Familiarity with personnel transfer methods, such as FROG basket and boarding arrangements.
- Command of English (both spoken and written) for clear communication with multinational crews and stakeholders
- Available for Mobilization in Singapore
- Available for a 90x7 rotation
