Responsible for inspecting and ensuring the integrity Of static equipment and piping onboard, executing or
witnessing non-destructive inspections, tests and non-destructive testing, evaluating and issuing reports on the
integrity of inspections and reassessments, during the design, construction, installation and operation phases, in
order to ensure the operational continuity Of the assets in the MdB fleet.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make, perform and supervise an equipment inspection at any stage of production, reception, construction, assembly or operation, interpreting and recording the results;
- Give the result of the inspection, perform and monitor an implementation of the equipment inspection plans, noting: the items to be inspected, the inspection procedures, the frequency and sampling of the inspection, the retention points, the Criteria for approval and rejection, Such as corrosion rates and residual life;
- Creation and maintenance of updated inspection records and equipment;
- Preparation of equipment inspection tests;
- Conducting or monitoring the collection of samples and materials for analysis purposes;
- Carry out an assessment of deterioration rates and damage to equipment by subsequent analyzes;
- Ensure an inspection equipment / instrumentation certification is calibrated.
