Responsible for executing all cargo operations on board and marine tasks, including but not limited that related to lifesaving equipment, in a safe, efficient and effective manner, as per the Marine Superintendent or Cargo Supervisor instructions, in compliance with MODEC procedures, national and international regulations and standards, liaising with client, authorities and Onshore departments, thus ensuring the unit's availability, safe operation and proper certification, contributing to the business continuity and its growth.

RESPONSABILITIES:

We are looking for a professional to work as Cargo Technician in an Offshore opportunity to FPSO UARU

The selected professional will perform activities such as:

  • Advise and participate in the execution of all marine related activities, including but not limited to offloading, supply boat operations, cargo handling, cargo and ballasting operations, crude oil washing, tank cleaning, and all associated maintenance of cargo and ballast equipment;
  • Perform all loading operations in the installation in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the instructions of the Immediate Supervisor and guidelines of the Cargo Supervisor;
  • Be responsible for effectively controlling and maintaining all life-saving equipment on board;
  • Ensure that all operations related to the Navy are carried out according to the parameters established by regulatory authorities, MODEC's HSEQ-MS Policies and Procedures, MODEC's Marine Operations Manual, IMO, ISM Code, Marpol, SOLAS and Work laws;


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Nautical Officer STCW CoC (II/1);
  • ESOP (Advanced training for oil tanker cargo operations)
  • EBPQ (Basic oil and chemical tanker cargo) operations training
  • Experience with offloading operations
  • Fluent in english
  • Mobility to rotation to Singapore
