Responsible for 1st level user support (guidance, doubts, incidents, problems and demands) through the communication channels established for the IT area, procedure documentation, escalation of calls, preparation and configuration of IT equipment, IT shifts according to the schedule, shipments in the fleet to provide services and on-site support according to the scale, induction of new users, aiming to ensure availability, performance, security and compliance with business expectations in terms of scope, time, costs and quality, in line with MODEC's strategy, policies and corporate guidelines


We are looking for a professional to work as IT Analyst in our office at Guyana:

The selected professionals will perform activities such as:

  • Provide 1st level IT (infrastructure and systems) and Facilities technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Support the budgeting of IT support items.
  • Meet the demands of the area according to the schedules and shifts defined and agreed upon, on
    call or needing to be on board for on-site assistance offshore.
  • Act according to good practices, defined processes for technical support services, demands and requests for
    infrastructure and IT systems and Facilities.
  • Ensure the durability and effectiveness of IT infrastructure resources and services.
  • Work in synergy and partnership with the local IT 2nd level support team and global IT team in providing technical
    infrastructure and systems support services for escalation of technical issues and information security issues as


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar

  • Microsoft certifications related to desktops is a competitive edge

  • Previous experience in support, requisitions and services of IT infrastructure and systems

  • Fluent in English
