Responsible for coordinating HSSE process, activities and the team onboard in the operational unit, as well as liaise with offshore leadership, with focus on enhancing safety culture and compliance with management system
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a professional for the position of HSSE Offshore Coordinator to work in one of our new projects.
To perform functions such as:
- Assure and provide expert technical HSSE support to the unity, including, but not limited to fire brigade and prevention, CARE cards, documentation, records, CIPA support, reports, administrative matters, general training and new employee’s induction
- Assure the implementation of HSSE guides, process standards, work instructions, programs, plans, tools and practices consistent with responsibilities defined by the company’s management system requirements; promoting onboard awareness and carrying out audits and inspections to ensure the compliance with safety requirements
- Represent the unit’s HSSE area towards the client and onshore/offshore team, participating of the management meetings, presenting performance indicators and addressing relevant HSEQ issues along with the leadership, establishing the strategies to reach the targets
- Manage unit’s HSSE team routines, providing needed training, enhancing HSSE culture, prioritizing activities, coordinating and monitoring Safety Technicians delivery, in terms of quality and due date
REQUIREMENTS:
- Safety Technical degree is mandatory or a Bachelor's degree with a postgraduate qualification in Safety Engineering is mandatory.
- Advanced English
- ISO auditor (ISO 9.001, ISO 14.001 OR ISO 45.001) is expected.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, chemical, construction or similar sectors.
- Expanding HSSE disciplines through a wide variety or relevant operational/project and issue experience is required
