• Responsible for static integrity for the entire business life cycle, focusing on short and medium term strategies, supporting Tier1 and Tier 2 through technical guidelines, engineering calculations, management of changes, RCA, technical specification review, as built, improvements, safety recommendations answers supports, specialized test/inspections and others engineering services which includes the evaluation and identification of improvements in business value, compliance, and technical safety, in order to ensure the fleet performance improvement considering best practices in all MODEC group shared as common practices, as well as promoting research and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Modec is looking for a professional to work as Integrity Engineer in our office at Guyana.

To develop activities such as:

  • Make or witness or ensure the tests, measurements, tests and examinations necessary to evaluate the physical condition of the equipment will be based on written procedures.Perform or witness, or ensure the verification of the safety valves performance, based on written procedures, in order to ensure safe condition for operation of equipment.
  • Define and inform the involved operation managers the time, type, periodic and equipment list that shall be inspected in conformity with the inspection program, as well as NDT exam, tests, measurements, replacements, repairs or modifications to be carried out, shall be informed with its duration and dates. All this information shall be in the shutdown plan;
  • Maintain the equipment master list updated.
  • Responsible for the evaluation of training, and their implementations for Equipment Inspectors, Operators and Technicians. He must also carry out inspections.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Certification as Welding Inspector (FBTS) – IS-N2 – is a competitive edge
  • Fluent in English
