Responsible for the maintenance of all instrumentation under the direction of the I&C Supervisor, acting proactively and maintaining a high standard of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, so that they are carried out technically efficiently, in compliance with schedules, MODEC procedures, maintenance philosophy, national and international regulations and standards, ensuring that all Instrumentation are operational and preserved for the assigned unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a professional as a Instrumentation Technician to work in an offshore opportunity on UARU project.
To develop activities such as:
- Perform maintenance activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all instruments of the facility.
- Assist in other tasks as requested by the I&C Lead or Electrical Supervisor (when applicable);
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent;
- Ensure effective communication within the Department of Maintenance and coordinate with the other departments the inhibits and other isolations required (e.g., process) during the instrumentation interventions , ensuring a safety practice and operationally of the facility;
- Ensure that permission to work system (PTW) is met and that all isolations in process and machinery are in line with the philosophy of Isolation of MODEC;
- Have the MODEC letter of authorization (PTW) to work in electrical installations in Low Voltage and High Voltage;
- Always perform any inspection activity and electrical maintenance with permission to work (PTW). Only perform activities according to the voltage level (Low Voltage and High Voltage) that is authorized to work, as described in his letter of authorization to work with electricity, signed and filed in the Handbook of Electrical Installations (PIE).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical degree is mandatory;
- Previous experience in the function;
- Advanced English;
