Responsible for all crane and winch operations for the assigned unit, including load/backload and wire rope

assessment, helicopter, mooring operations and cargo handling, carrying out routine checks, housekeeping,

assisting preservation, maintenance and lubrication of the crane, as instructed by Marine leaderships, being aware and having proper knowledge of the crane operation manual and operation settings and limits, in compliance with MODEC procedures, national and international regulations and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for professional to work as Crane Operator in an Offshore opportunity:

  • Conduct all crane operations safely and efficiently;
  • To be responsible for all crane lifting operations on board;
  • Ensure proper operation, inspection, cleaning and general maintenance of cranes;
  • Perform general deck tasks, cleaning and general planning of maintenance of deck equipment;
  • Assist the Supervisor in maintaining current stock of straps, shackles, hoists and hoist equipment in use (in accordance with the Code of Color), reporting any defects or requirements to the Marine Superintendent / Cargo Supervisor.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Complete High School;
  • Certification Crane Operator Level III OPITO
  • Experience in the function working at FPSOs, Offshore Units as Drilling or Special Vessels and Offshore Platforms are preferred
  • Prior experience working in offshore lifting operations is highly desirable
  • Expertise in crane maintenance and hydraulic equipment is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Mobility to rotation to Singapore
