We are looking for a Local Content Analyst who will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of local content plans. He/she will work closely with internal departments, track performance, and engage with government agencies to ensure compliance with local content expectations. He or she will also evaluate and recommend initiatives to enhance local supplier and workforce capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of local content plans and prepare half-yearly reports in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Interface with internal departments to align on local content priorities and monitor progress.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics related to workforce, suppliers, and local content.
  • Engage with government agencies and regulators to discuss and address local content expectations.
  • Assist in the implementation of local content development programs.
  • Evaluate and recommend supplier and local capacity development initiatives to meet prescribed local content requirements.
  • Stay informed about local content developments and community perceptions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Guyana’s Local Content laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in procurement, community affairs, and HR management.
  • Experience interacting with government bodies, suppliers, and civil society.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and reporting skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in local content development.
  • Knowledge of Finance & Budgeting is an asset.
