We are seeking a professional to join our Guyana office as a Combined Cycle Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the scope of work related to Combined Cycle Power Generation and Steam Systems. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and continuously improving preventive and predictive maintenance plans, strategies, and practices in order to maximize the reliability, availability, maintainability, safety, and integrity (RAMSI) of the company's assets. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to operational procedures and help achieve business results.


Core Responsibilities

•Support MOG’s corporate annual budget planning for Combined Cycle discipline.

•Contribute to continuous improvement of IMS by updating project status and monitoring IMS Documents.

•Develop and execute maintenance plans and inspections, monitoring KPIs, and developing action plans to ensure compliance with regulations.

•Ensure adherence to maintenance policy and reliability engineering.

•Contribute to operation reliability and performance by monitoring results, performing root cause assessments, and providing technical recommendations.

•Develop technical recommendations or action plans to meet operations' needs and feedback from technical management, fleet maintenance support, and operations areas.

•Contribute to CMMS governance by updating and monitoring information on hierarchy, job descriptions, and maintenance plans.

•Monitor process safety barriers' KPIs and provide technical recommendations.

•Support MOG’s BID/EPCI process by providing technical and O&M cost reviews through the bidding and pre-ops teams.

•Participate in risk analysis workshops and safety reviews

•Safeguard MODEC from noncompliance by performing internal audits to meet international regulations, MODEC policies, and standards.

•Improve Combined Cycle Power Generation and Steam System availability and reduce costs.

Provide technical support to pre-ops team on vessel equipment criticality assessment and maintenance plans development.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a similar field.
  • CREA is required.
  • Perform sporadic embarkations on vessels as required.
