Responsible for carrying out activities related to the laboratory operation in order to maintain its operability and delivery Of reliable results according to the general technical description (GTD) Of the service contract Of the unit.
REPONSIBILITIES:
- The Laboratory Technician shall be responsible for carrying out physical and chemical analyses on all process plant samples, routine and non-routine samples, following standard methods using laboratory equipment such as Karl Fischer, centrifuge, fume cabinet, Chanscope, Spectrophotometer, titration, etc. and applying wet chemistry techniques, besides to have overall responsibility on all laboratory equipment installed maintenance and safekeeping, including the glassware and chemical standards, and reagents inventory at storage area or kept inside the laboratory building.
- Operate, maintain, and coordinate laboratory equipment calibration with onshore personnel such as Karl Fischer, centrifuge, fume cabinet, Chanscope, spectrophotometer, potentiometric titrator, pH, conductivity, particle counter, residual chlorine meter and dissolved oxygen meters whenever applicable.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School degree is required
- Previous experience in the same function
- Complete Chemistry Technician School;
- FPSO experience
- Fluent in English
- Mobility to rotation to Singapore during construction phase
