Responsible for general tasks at the deck, helideck and all other vessel areas including cargo check, cargo safety check, perform cargo fastening and handling duties, scaffolding assemble and dissemble, general cleaning and maintenance or any other assignments that the managerial group of the department may ask, guaranteeing a safe operation and contributing to the business continuity and its growth.
RESPONSABILITIES
The selected professionals will perform activities such as:
Organize and supervise deck work and maintenance, including but not limited to offloading, supply boat operations, cargo handling, cargo and ballasting operations, crude oil washing, tank cleaning, and all associated maintenance of cargo and ballast equipment, ensuring that planned deck work is carried out as instructed, guaranteeing their safety and compliance with internal and external procedures and regulations, as well as that all deck equipment, tools, stores, and workshops are in good order.
Manually lift, carry, and move equipment, tools, and materials from place to place as required, preparing cargo for lift by attaching appropriate slings through shackles and other attaching devices and check load for clearance, obstructions, balance and proper attachment, using the safety guidelines in order to ensure their safety and compliance with internal and external procedures and regulations.
Ensure the correct, safe and efficient use of scaffolds, assembling and disassembling scaffolds when requested under conditions of safety, cleanliness and maintenance; as well as maintaining the scaffolding materials properly stowed in the designated place and clamps / couplings kept well protected.
Paint and coat the workspace utilizing the correct colors, paints and protection covers.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School degree is required
Previous experience with cargo handling and scaffolding is required
Availability to rotate to Singapore
Fluent English is required
